CYF receive Hollowell Foundation Grant
The Hollowell Foundation presented the Butler Street C.M.E. Christian Youth Fellowship with a grant to cover Registration Fees for the eleven persons who will attend the Connectional Youth and Young Adult Conference in Orlando, Florida, July 7-11, 2008. Visit www.butlerstreetcmechurch.org
Bethel Grove host College of Bishops
On January 6, 2008 Christian Methodist Episcopal Church College of Bishops attended the Bethel Grove C.M.E Church worship service in Griffin, GA. The Sixth Episcpal District Presiding Prelate, Bishop Othal H. Lakey gave the Sacrament of the Holy Communionion. Rev. Melvin Allen Tukes and the members of Bethel Grove would like to thank Presiding Elder Jerry Woodfork and the College of Bishops for being recognized for our dedication, for our cooperative spirit and for our commitment to Christ and the Church.
